October 7, 2015 Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary - Hope for the World

Introduction :

Our Lady at various times has appeared and requested that her "Rosary" be said for specific causes.

In our own century, she has made it known that her Rosary is a "Power"  for overcoming "Paganism and Materialism".

Many Stories can be told of conversions brought about by the recitation of the Rosary.

A Miracle wrought by the Rosary:

Saint Vincent Ferrer was once called to the sick bed of a dying man to administer the sacraments. The Sick Man would have nothing to do with the Priest and continued to swear and blaspheme.

Saint Vincent tried every remedy he knew to persuade the dying man, but to no avail. He then turned to the bystanders and urged them to recite the Rosary with him. At the conclusion of the Rosary, the sick man begged to go to "Confession" and then died a peaceful death.

October is the month of the Holy Rosary. Make it part of your daily life.

The Rosary has long been a favourite prayer of the Catholic Christian. The Beads tell us all that we need to know what began in childhood - the great scenes of "Christ's Life" and his "Mother Mary".

Pope Paul, the Sixth said it this way : "Do not fail to lay careful stress on the saying of the Rosary, the prayer so dear to "Our Lady" and so highly recommended by the "Supreme Pontiffs" down the ages.

By this means, the faithful can most pleasantly and effectively carry out our "Divine Master's" command :

"Ask and it shall be given you- seek and you shall find - Knock, and it shall be opened".

Conclusion:

In Need ?? Lost ?? Locked Out ?? A Rosary, Your Rosary..... Today and everyday !!

Our Lady of the Rosary, smile on us !!

TENDER HEART

All of us know, that when you love someone very much you want to be with the one you love. A Mother can hardly wait to hold her newborn infant. A Father's Joy is to be with his children. Friends treasure the moments they spend together. Sweethearts love so deeply they find it painful to part.

We know that the more one loves, the more one wants to be with the object of one's affection. This explains the very mystery of our catholic faith the mystery of the "Real Presence". Jesus Christ stays with us day and night in the Blessed Sacrament simply because he loves each of us so much that he never wants to leave us.

Jesus Christ exclaims, "Behold, I will be with you always even until the end of the world (Matthew 28:20) Why ?? Because "I have loved you with an everlasting love and constant is my affection for you.

Again, "I will restore you and you shall be rebuilt". (Jeremiah 31: 3 )

This is the message of the Sacred Heart. At the Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Paray-Le-Monial France, there is a message inscribed on the wall: "If you believe in my love, if you really believe in my love then you shall see miracles of my love. I will reign in every heart and my victory shall be total and complete for I will reign through the omnipotence of my love in the Blessed Sacrament.

This is what Jesus Christ told Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque to tell the world. The key word is "omnipotent" all powerful. His Heart in the Blessed Sacrament is on fire with love for each person.

He wanted to make it unmistakably clear that devotion to his Sacred Heart is devotion to the Blessed Sacrament. The Blessed Sacrament is the Sacred Heart of Jesus living in our midst today !!

His appeal through Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque is more urgent today than it was then : "I thirst with such a terrible thirst to be loved in this most Blessed Sacrament".

His message is that the Eucharist is not a thing, but a person, the person of Jesus Christ himself.

In the Blessed Sacrament, he said we would find the most loving of all Father's, our very best friend, with the tenderest of all hearts.

Saint John Vianney saw with his very own eyes Jesus Christ cup the face of each person who visited him in the Blessed Sacrament and give each one a tender kiss of gratitude. " I draw them with hands of love ........ I fostered them like one who raises an infant to his cheeks". (Hosea 11:4)

This is the tenderness we find in the Blessed Sacrament from a heart which is the most appreciative of our love. Jesus Christ asked "Who touched me referring to a woman who touched the tassel on his cloak. He wanted to know who touched him because "Power has gone out from me". (Luke 8:45)

Power goes out from Jesus Christ with each "Holy Hour" we make. Each Holy Hour touches his heart and releases his healing love upon the earth until one day there will be a new and a second pentecost.

The "Fire" that will destroy the materialistic world will be the fire of "Divine Love". The Fire of his heart will destroy the cold hatred of this world and establish the Kingdom of his Divine Love (Peter 3:10).

"Perpetual Adoration" will be the cause and the catalyst of this cosmic event.

A CHILD SAVED BY MOTHER MARY

Introduction :

In the first centuries of the Church it was the custom to give to little children who had not yet lost the innocence of their baptism the "Consecrated Species" which remained after the Communion of the Faithful.

One day, a child the son of a Jewish Glass Founder of Constantinople while going to school with other "Christian Children" had followed them to the Church and innocently presented himself like the others and received the fragments of the "Holy Eucharist".

A Frightful Ordeal :

Having returned home, he narrated simply to his Father what he had done. The Father, then a most brutal man and one of the most passionate Jews against everything christian became at once infuriated. He seized the unfortunate child and threw him alive in one of his burning furnaces.

Sometime after that, the mother who had been away during the tragedy came home and not knowing what had taken place asked everywhere for her son.

As nobody could tell her where he could be, she went all about the town searching and asking for him but all was in vain.

Three days had already elapsed, and unconsolable the poor mother still wept bitterly over her lost child and in the excess of her sorrow she happened to call him aloud by his name as if he were present.

A Miracle :

Suddenly, A Wonder !! A Voice answered her and called to her by the tender name of Mother !!

Much moved, she ran to the furnace from where the voice seemed to come. She opened the lid and A Miracle !! Her son, was there in the middle of the flames but quite alive and uninjured.

She called her neighbours to her help and they too witnessed the miracle.

Our Lady's Presence :

The Child was drawn out and questioned how he had fallen into that burning furnace and how his life had been preserved in the middle of such a fire.

He answered that his Father had thrown him there, for having assisted at a Catholic Christian function but that a beautiful Lady radiant with light had preserved him from the flames by covering him with her cloak; she had even given him to eat to satisfy his hunger; and she looked exactly like the pious image he had seen in the Church of the Catholic Christians.

All understood then that it was the "Divine Mother of Jesus Christ" namely Mary who had saved his life and preserved him from the flames of the furnace.

Conclusion :

The Roman Emperor hearing of the cruel act of this unnatural father had him arrested and punished.

The wretched man instead of converting himself persisted the more in his error; but the mother and the child sought instruction in the "Catholic Religion" received baptism and became fervent Catholic Christians.

CROWN OF GLORY

Introduction:

In Portugal, there exists a crown of the "Blessed Mother" where Saint Pope John Paul -2 placed two bullets which struck him when he was the Pope at Saint Peter's Square on May 13, 1981.

I believe that this symbolizes Our Lady's Triumph. She will turn everything around and even the most vicious efforts of her enemies will be used to make even brighter, her "Crown of Glory".

The triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be the Eucharistic Reign of her son through the flourishing of "Perpetual Adoration" which will bring about the "New Era" a second, a new, and a more glorious earthly paradise.

SAINT POPE JOHN PAUL -2 AND THE BLESSED SACRAMENT:

This is why, Saint Pope John Paul -2 was allowed by God to be shot on May 13th. It is the Feast of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament. The Pope is the Vicar of Christ.

The significance of him being shot on the Feast Day Of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament is this. It graphically illustrates the horror and evil of the unrelenting attacks on the Blessed Sacrament.

The World was in shock when Saint Pope John Paul -2 was shot. What would be more terrible ?? As, blatantly and tragically horrible as this scene was, of the Pope Saint John Paul -2 being shot, even worse is the unseen attacks on the "One" he serves so well, the Lord Himself in the most Blessed Sacrament.

Are we moved to do something about it ??

Denial of the Real Presence, ridicule of exposition, and specially attacks on "Perpetual Adoration" are common place. Read the Book of Revelation and the battle lines of war become clear once you know that the "Woman" is Mother Mary against the 'Dragon- Satan' fighting the "Lamb" - Jesus Christ in the most Blessed Sacrament.

Who are the Kings who fight against the "Lamb" ?? They are those in authority in the Church who fight against the Blessed Sacrament. But "The Lamb" will be victorious because he is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings and those with him are called chosen and faithful. (Revelation 17:14).

Many people - Soldiers and Ordinary Folk were killed during World War -2. How many brave men in the past century alone have fought and died for love of their country ??

How many wars have been fought for Peace and Freedom ?? and yet, look how far we are away from either.

There is only "One War" worth fighting for. "Standing up for Christ in the Blessed Sacrament today is like standing up for Christ when he was on the Cross !!".

What we need today is an "Army of Priests" who are willing to fight, by standing up and being counted for the cause of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament.

Conclusion :

There are 2 Catholic Cardinals from Asia, who I admire a lot. One of them is the "Holy Cardinal" of Cebu in the Phillipines and Cardinal Sin of the Archdiocese of Manila.

Cardinal Vidal is the Holy Cardinal of Cebu. Cardinal Vidal once said that because we live in "Extraordinary Times" we must be willing to do the "Extraordinary" by having "Perpetual Adoration" in order to obtain "Extraordinary Graces and Blessings from God".

Cardinal Vidal works very hard to bring about perpetual adoration in every one of his parishes. Cardinal Sin of Manila has made it the most "Eucharistic" Diocese in the world with over 100 Chapels of perpetual adoration.

God Bless them both !!

CORPUS CHRISTI AND THE SACRED HEART

Introduction:

The Feast Day of Corpus Christi (The Body of Christ) was requested by Our Lord himself.

It was not a feast day that the Church in its wisdom decided to include in the liturgical calendar. It was a feast day, rather, that Jesus Christ requested through extraordinary means by appearing to his servant Saint Juliana and showing her a Moon that he said was symbolic of the feast day that was needed, that he wanted, that he requested, the feast day of Corpus Christi.

And Saint Juliana said "But Jesus, we have a feast day Holy Thursday".

And Our Lord explained to her that Holy Thursday is also a feast day that celebrates the institution of the Holy Priesthood along with the institution of the Holy Eucharist.

He wanted one special feast day set aside in honor of "His Real Presence in the most Blessed Sacrament".

For he said as the Church progressed in time, faith in His Real Presence would dimnish to the point where it would need a feast day to remind the people that he is really here.

"That the Eucharist is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Christ".

That this is not a symbol of Jesus Christ, but the reality of Jesus Christ himself. The same Jesus born in Bethlehem two thousand years ago, the same Jesus who died on the Cross for our sins, and the same Jesus that rose again on Easter Sunday is really, truly, bodily, and personally present in the most Blessed Sacrament.

The Connection and Similarity between Corpus Christi and the Sacred Heart :

In the Month of June, we celebrate the feast day of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Why do we celebrate Corpus Christi on Sunday and the feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on Friday ??

Again, this is because this is what Our Blessed Lord specifically requested.

Through his servant Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque he requested a feast day in honor of the Sacred Heart, within the octave of the feast day of Corpus Christi, because he wanted to spotlight, highlight, focus, emphasize, dramatize, :

THE BLESSED SACRAMENT IS THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS LIVING AND LOVING IN OUR MIDST TODAY !!

Conclusion:

The Message of the Sacred Heart is Eucharistic. Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is Eucharistic. Jesus Christ appeared to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.

And his first words were "Please look at this heart which has loved mankind so much, consumed itself for love of man, and yet is so little loved in return.

" I THIRST WITH SUCH A TERRIBLE THIRST TO BE LOVED IN THIS MOST BLESSED SACRAMENT".

His request to her was an appeal to mankind to be loved in the Blessed Sacrament, the same request that goes back to the Gospel, "Could you not watch one hour with me ??"

For the Heart of Christ, as he himself described it, is a burning furnace of Love. When Saint Margaret Mary looked at the Heart of Christ, it was like a million burning suns on fire with love, for each and every one of us.

How can we truly believe in the "Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Blessed Sacrament knowing that Saint Pope John Paul -2 was right when he said that Jesus Christ waits for us in this "Sacrament of Love" with a love that no human tongue can tell for the Lord loves us as no one else loves us and not be moved to come to him every single day" ??
